Adrianna Cruz-Ocampo Bio
Chief Executive Officer
Adrianna Cruz-Ocampo was born in Cali, Columbia. In 1973 she immigrated to Los Angeles with her parents and sister. Attending, Blessed Sacrament Elementary and Our Lady of Corvallis High School in Studio City, she was actively involved on the swim team, the Yearbook staff, the Keywanettes Club and theater production. Adrianna’s passion for her community was supported in those years through her involvement in a collective effort to visit and care for elderly people living in convalescent homes throughout the San Fernando Valley. She acquired the entrepreneurial bug while still in high school when she began to work at a small frame shop called “Super Art Mart.” Adrianna decided to stay on at the frame shop, where her photography background allowed her to apply her creative side to the framing business. Not only did Adrianna become an asset to the frame shop, she fell in love with the art of framing.
Adrianna attended Pierce College, where she received an Associate Arts degree in business administration. Shortly after graduation she was given the opportunity to buy the small frame shop in which she had continued to work since high school. In 1988, with her own savings and a business loan she was able to purchase the shop renaming it “U-Frame-It.” Since then she has grown the business into one of the most successful and customer friendly frame shops in the San Fernando Valley. Throughout the years her hard work and dedication has paved the way for her growing relationships with the movie and television studios. Again Adrianna found a niche where she could apply her good business sense and her creative background. She is an active member of the Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA), serving on the luncheon committee, business member forum and marketplace-SDSA Annual Trade Show held at Universal Studios back-lot. She is also a member of the Greater San Fernando Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce of Encino, Tarzana/Woodland Hills and Studio City and the National Association of Professional and Executive Women.
Today, Adrianna and her husband of 14 years, Francisco, are the proud parents of two sons, Andres and Sebastian and live in Northridge, California. She is enthusiastically involved in her sons’ school and sports programs, donating her time and professional services. Outside of her sons’ activities, she actively supports children and youth programs in the community by donating her time and money to keep these programs alive. She is a strong believer in giving back to the community and has incorporated this philosophy into her daily life. An avid world traveler, Adrianna enjoys spending time exploring with her family and continuing to pursue that entrepreneurial bug that bit her so many years ago.
